Scott Burns (producer)

Scott Burns is an American computer engineer and an ex-music producer of death metal music, resident at Morrisound Recording studio in Tampa, Florida in late 1980s and 1990s. He produced many records for many famous death metal bands, including Death, Cannibal Corpse, Sepultura, Obituary, Atheist, Malevolent Creation, Suffocation, and Cynic. He has engineered albums such as Death's Spiritual Healing, Massacre's From Beyond, Solstice's The Sentencing, Terrorizer's World Downfall, Obituary's Slowly We Rot, Savatage's Edge of Thorns and Assück's Misery Index. He most recently worked on the album Frozen in Time (2005) by Obituary. Scott stopped producing to work in computer programming. [1]
