Marcus Whelan (born 27 June 1914) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Collingwood Football Club during the 1930s and 1940s.
He played in the midfield as a centreman and on occasions would be seen in defence. Whelan won the Brownlow Medal in 1939 and was also awarded the Copeland Trophy. After fighting in World War II he returned to the Victoria Football League in 1946 and retired at the end of the 1947 season.
Is the grandfather of Neighbours actress Nicky Whelan.
