Léon Mébiame (born 1934) was the Prime Minister of Gabon for 15 years. He is a close associate of his predecessor, former President Omar Bongo. He was Vice President from 1968 to 1975, when the position was abolished. He was then appointed Prime Minister and served from April 16, 1975 to May 3, 1990.
