Jarryd Roughead was selected by Hawthorn in the 2004 Draft at no.2 as a key position prospect. In his 4 years at Hawthorn he has shown he has strong hands and is good at reading play. Received a Rising Star nomination in his first year round 19. He was recruited from Gippsland Power. In 2007, Roughead showed his true skill after scoring 40 goals in 22 games.although inaccurately kicking 36 points at just 52.6 percent in 2007. Roughhead showed he could howd down a key forward position.So far in his career Roughhead has showed he has tremendous athletic capapbility with a huge leap. in season 2008, Roughead fell under the radar of teams with all the focus on Lance Franklin. Roughead kicking 75 goals from 25 matches. with the ability to go into defense Roughead has become a useful utility for hawthorn. In the 2008 Grand final Roughead struggled to get the bal at times but finished with a respectable 2 goals.Jarryd Roughead is well known for his consistent assists to other forwards and his endurance.

Cameron Roughead Jarryd's Younger brother sucks emmense penis at football and has no talent at any form of sport whatsoever. He is up himself that much beacause jarryd is that good at footy, and he needs bullets to the head. I no him personaly and he is a cockhead, noone likes him and he has no friends, apart from people that use him. "Golden Duck" is his middle name. Town cricket club had nothing to do with this.
