Harry Frauca

Harry Frauca (born 1928) is an Australian naturalist, writer and photographer. Of Spanish origin, he moved to Australia in the 1950s and became an Australian citizen. From 1960 he became a fulltime writer and photographer on natural history. From 1970 he collected insects for the Australian National Wildlife Collection. He lives in Bundaberg, Queensland with his wife Claudy.

He has been honoured in the name of the Harry Frauca Walkway, a 200 m walkway at Baldwin Swamp, Bundaberg.
