"Hard to Get" is a popular song written by Jack O. Segal and published in 1955. The song was a hit for Gisele MacKenzie in 1955. As she was performing at the time on Your Hit Parade, this song became the first ever to be performed on Your Hit Parade by the artist who had the biggest selling recording.
