Glenelg Oval

Challenge Recruitment Oval (formerly Glenelg Oval/informaly Bays Oval, The Bay and still often referred to Glenelg Oval) is located on Brighton Road, Glenelg, South Australia. The ground is primarily used for Australian rules football and cricket and has a capacity of 15,000 people[1] with seated grandstands holding 1,500.

The oval hosts matches for the Glenelg Football Club, being it's home ground, in the local SANFL competition. It also hosts matches for the Glenelg Cricket Club District Cricket Club. It also hosts local Australian Football school games

Its record crowd is 17,171 attending a SANFL match between Glenelg and Sturt on 20 July 1968.

In late 2006 the oval was renamed to Challenge Recruitment Oval as part of a three-year sponsorship arrangement through the football club.[2]
