Colcom Foundation

From MedBib.com - Medicine & Nature

Colcom Foundation was established in 1996 by the late Cordelia Scaife May.

The foundation's website [1] indicates principal funding interests reflect a concern for quality of life, which it strives to address with honesty, compassion, and responsibility. The foundation has also helped finance a "street-presence" program in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania which encouraged businesses to improve their street façades.[2] and paid for the purchase of a Chihuly chandelier for the Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens.[3] The foundation became the lead sponsor of Pittsburgh's 250th anniversary festivities.[4] The Tribute to Children statue honoring Fred Rogers of Mr. Rogers Neighborhood is funded by the foundation.[5]
