Bang Camaro is a hard rock band from Boston, Massachusetts. Founded by guitarists Bryn Bennett and Alex Necochea, it is composed of members of various indie rock bands from the area. Bang Camaro is currently signed with Black Sword Records, 8th Impression Music, and Fontana/Universal[1].
Style
The band is composed of a bassist, a drummer, two guitarists, and a full choir of lead singers comprising anywhere from eight to twelve vocalists. The band's music is somewhat similar in style to late-'70s and '80s metal. The basic song structure highlights catchy choruses and integrates as many guitar solos as possible.
The band cites as influences Elvis Presley and Buddy Holly, and arena rock bands like Skid Row, Iron Maiden, and Dokken. "I would call us anthem rock," said Alex Necochea. "We're really not heavy metal. I think our focus is more on writing great singles, as best as we can make them. That's just something Bryn and I grew up on. We're big fans of melody and big driving hooks, that sort of thing."[2]
