Career highlights

Alan Toovey (born 23 March 1987) is an Australian rules footballer with the Collingwood Football Club in the Australian Football League.

A speedy left footed defender, Toovey was initially unlucky not to be drafted to a senior list at the end of 2005, and spent the rest of the summer with the Magpies in the hope of selection in the rookie draft. His wish was granted, and he spent the rest of 2006 with Williamstown in the VFL, his efforts out of the back pocket earning him promotion to the senior list at seasons end.

He made his AFL debut in Round 3 of the 2007 season, scoring three goals against Richmond.

Toovey previously lived with teammate Shannon Cox

Toovey is an old boy of Aquinas College, Perth[1]
